Each fragrance is inspired by Liberty’s iconic fabrics and reflects the artistic signature and unmistakable identity of the heritage brand.

About Liberty
LBTY, a new captivating fragrance collection inspired by the artwork of Liberty’s rich print archive. As a thought-leader in art and design since the late 1800s, Liberty has long worked with the most influential artists of its time. It has retained this tradition by working with a collective of world-renowned perfumers to curate a fragrance collection that seamlessly blends the heritage and modernity of the brand. Following a call-out from Liberty with five iconic archival prints, perfumers were given the opportunity to respond by creating an evocative scent inspired by the colours and shapes within each design.
Each print was chosen for its distinctiveness as well as its potential for interpretation with unique and expressive motifs. A record number of submissions were received, leading to a fragrance collection by the creative forces behind scents such as Le Labo Santal 33, Tom Ford Black Orchid and White Patchouli and YSL Black Opium. Much like the intricate patterns that adorn the well-loved textiles, each fragrance in the collection is meticulously crafted to evoke an idea or a feeling, to transport its wearer to a place or memory. As a retail destination, Liberty has long been commended for its curation of niche, artisanal and gender-neutral fragrance, always favouring the avant-garde over the mainstream. The launch of LBTY is a natural evolution of this, drawing inspiration and learnings from years of unrivaled knowledge, having launched some of the most cult fragrance brands into the UK market.
