Founder Story
Anomalia Paris (born between Paris and the Côte d‘Azur) was imagined, designed and worn by Elena Spirina. Already strong in a career in advertising&marketing, in the film industry and also in fashion, with her brand Try Merry, she navigates brilliantly in the world of entrepreneurship. Like many, it was during the lockdown in the spring of 2020 that Elena was inspired to create home fragrances – scented candles. After this initial foray into fragrance design, she enrolled at the Grasse Institute o f Perfumery to learn all necessary skills from the most accomplished perfumers before expanding her vision beyond scented candles. A few months later, Anomalia Paris was born…
Elena is the founder and creative director at Anomalia Paris. She spreads her philosophy and artistic vision to everything inside the House.
Inside look
Between vintage and contemporary
The design of the bottles and caps was imagined by Elena. While the shape of the bottle is directly inspired by its collection of vintage perfumes, the stopper – in zamac, an alloy of zinc, aluminium, magnesium and copper – celebrates the perfect imperfection. With geometric lines, but not really rectangular, it changes appearance depending on the angle of observation.

„As a passionate lover of the arts, from visual art to music and theatre, I have always been captivated by the human element. With my background as a documentary film director, I perceive every experience, whether it‘s exploring the world‘s largest cave, embarking on a Harley Davidson adventure across Europe, or climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, through the lens of art. To me, perfume embodies an invisible and delicate form of art that allows us to express the beauty and emotions of life through scent. Creating perfumes that capture the essence of luxury and freedom brings me immense pleasure.“
